I “spoke” with a great schema nun and she had shock on her face and instantly gave me a blessing. I just kneeled and hadn’t said a thing. She was blind but it was like she could see into my soul her eyes were wide open when I looked up. I wanted to ask her how to pray. I was not orthodox at the time but was very much interested in converting. No words were exchanged however but oh my goodness a great lesson and blessing came from that, so much was said 🥹💕☦️

i am a 15 year old girl in Canada and I just became an Orthodox Christ by the grace of God. However, I am incredibly frightened a lot of the time. I'm so scared of world events like the war in Ukraine and Russian, Israel and Palestine, AI, secularism, climate change, wokeism and other things like that. I worry that these conflicts are a great sign of the times and that we are about to have the antichrist any day, that I'll look on the news and see a man claiming to be god being crowned in the temple in Jersualem. im so scared of being martyred or tortured for my faith, and that I'll lose or renounce my faith for fear of persecution. I also fear the Last Judgement and worry about my salvation, so I worry that I will have a terrible life on Earth, only to be met with eternal death afterwards. I know I need to trust in Christ and rely on Him, but that doesn't stop my anxiety. I would love some help, whether it be advice or prayers. God bless
